Challenge yourself on the Class II and III rapids of the rolling La Balsa River. You’ll take on some of the river’s favorite runs like “Morning Coffee” and “Rock Around the Clock,” with full instructions, safety equipment and tips from professional, bi-lingual river guides. It’s an exciting combination of adventure and nature touring where you’ll explore some of the most beautiful stretches of white water in the region. Juggled-covered banks line this rainforest canyon that often reveals it’s most playful and colorful residents, such as monkeys, tropical birds – including toucans, as well as sloths, butterflies and other river wildlife. Río Balsa is dam-controlled, so we are usually assured good water levels all-yearlong.
